on sale, to be restored €160.000 - country houses, stone-house
We are in the municipality of Montopoli in Sabina (RI), precisely on the land that was once part of a prestigious Roman villa. It is said to have belonged to Marco Terenzio Varrone and today it is called Villa dei Casoni. This valuable property develops precisely in the land bordering the remains of the Roman villa.
In the property there are two stone buildings: the first on two levels with a net surface of 167 square meters, the second on a single floor with a surface of 33 square meters.
The surrounding lands measure about 9 hectares and can be divided into 4 large areas on which we find mainly olive trees.
Walls and floors are still well preserved but the roof needs heavy restoration; the remaining parts need to be completely restored.
Although the renovation required won’t be small, with a not excessive economic commitment, it will be possible to obtain a beautiful country residence where enjoys intact the charm of the Italian peasant life of the past.
